Vintage 'Sadler' (James Sadler, Stoke on Trent) famous 'BROWN BETTY' 16-cup teapot This huge, catering-type earthenware teapot has an 8 pint capacity (16 teacups), produced by Sadler in Rockingham Brown Glaze, with a lifting-handle. Backstamp 'Sadler England' Teapot has a net weight of 2.40 kg and measures 23 cm high and 32 cm from handle to spout. Condition: Very good EXCEPT 2 small chips (see photos) one of approx 1 cm on spout and one on base-rim. A few tiny glaze-bubbles on lid and body.
