This listing is for a signed Chalet Canada Sommerso Amethyst/ Gray art glass sculpture from the 1960's.
It was produced by Chalet - a Canadian art glass company founded in 1960 by Italian immigrant Angelo Tedesco from
Murano who continued making Murano art glass in Canada through the 1960s.
Chalet is becoming more sought after as the popularity of Mid Century Modern Art is ever increasing.
This piece is huge, measuring 26 1/4" x 13" across, and 10" tall. It weighs nearly seven pounds, and is
in Excellent Condition. It has no chips, cracks, or scratches, and still retains three of its four foam rubber foot pads.
