Hello! Up for Auction! This is an especially great lot of Dr. Seuss Beginner Readers & I can read all by myself lot. In addition to the books I have included the 1986 Dr. Seuss From Then to Now - A Catalogue of the Retrospective Exhibition. This book has a full number line and one date - 1986 . This book covers the sixty year career of Theodore (Dr. Seuss) Geisel from his early days as editor in chief of Jack o Lantern, the Dartmouth College comic monthly, to his most recent book, You're only old once. This exhibition, organized by the San Diego Museum of Arts was shown at 7 museums across the country including, The Baltimore Museum of Art, New Orleans Museum of Art, Tampa Museum of Art, LTV Center Pavillion, Carnegie Museum of art and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and The San Diego Museum of Art. This is a must have for any collector. Condition - The inside of the book is in like new condition with no writing, rips or torn pages. Boards are red with title of book in gold on the spine.Boards look brand new. Spine is tight and pages are clean. The jacket has some problems with rips and tears to both the front and rear along the spine and one tear on bottom right. Not including the catalogue t are 12 of the large 11 x 8 1/2 inch books. Two have dust jackets and all are in very good to excellent condition with the exception of Go Dog Go which has several pages with scribble on them. I am going to include the regular size version of this book but it is not in my pictures as I did not realize it until after my pictures were taken. T are 10 of the smaller 9 x 6 1/2 inch books and 25 of the slightly larger format 9 1/2 x 7 inches. Last but not least are two small books entitled, Seuss-isms and What was I scared of? T are a few older books a couple with dust jackets that may be first editions. And a few older books that still have library stickers attached. T are a few books with names written inside (very few) This is an excellent collection of great books!
