There are more than 1600 issues of Life magazine in this lot (I calculated 34 years at 49 issues per year= 1666 but there are a couple of duplicates and some issues from the early 1990s as well). There are a few issues from 1938 and a full years for the rest except for the following missing issues.6/5/4412/15/4712/22/4712/29/472/9/482/16/481/2/505/16/601/14/666/23/72.Please note that some of these issues just might be in here but we could have missed them during sorting. We noticed three that had writing on the covers, 4/23/56, 7/1/57 and 7/4/60 and a few had water staining but we didn’t note those. My starting price is less than $1.00 per issue. All the key issues are present and are in average to much better than average condition. Most of the years are complete. We sorted them into boxes by the year and they are in order. We tried to note missing issues but they all may be in here as we could have missed them. I removed some of the key issues to photograph but there are about 30+ boxes of magazines for you to pick up. I can not ship these as it would be much too much work and could be cost prohibitive. I live on the east end of Long Island on the North Fork, in Greenport. If you would like to have them delivered, close by, it could be arranged for a fee. These are all from a single owner who kept them pretty neat and were stored in an attic. The vast majaority are very nice but there are some, mostly from 1949 and 1950, that have the covers detached, some separated front from back or entirely missing, and with some loose pages but other than these years they are in good shape. Have a look at the ones I photographed and see for yourself. I think that all the key issues are not too bad and some are fantastic. The one with the baseball cards is missing the cards (Cleopatra issue I believe). I am just running this for one day as I need these out of my garage. They are taking up too much needed room. There could be money to be made by splitting them up and selling them individually but not for me. The key issues alone are probably worth my starting bid. Take a look and good luck.
