HUGE LIFETIME COLLECTION of POSTCARDS 10,000 cards collected over 70 years, being sold as several lots.The collection is being disposed of as the owner is having to move to sheltered accomodation. The cards have been sorted into categories, stored in shoeboxes in dry conditions and are in very good condition. None of the boxes have been previously "picked over", or previously offered for sale. Would obviously suit dealer/serious collector/aficianado. LOT 10: comprises 77 postcards portraying Railway engines , carriages, stations, Rail bridges Railwayana and the others associated railway interest, most are unused, condition generally very good. Earliest noted is the 1906 card of the Royal Border Bridge Berwick on Tweed. Postage will be £1.50 p&p for UK mainland, postage abroad will be £2.75.
