Offered for auction is a huge all original clock in the deco style from the 1920-30 era. Movement: all brass movement which has been recently serviced and checked, and cleaned and oiled. The movement is signed Bass Clock Made in Germany. Westminster Chime clock with 5 chime hammers. Working and striking a lovely sequence, and strikes the hour with several hammers. This clock strikes loudly. Face: applied numerals on painted face with wood insert. Case: mahogany case with inlays of lighter wood, brass bezel surround and glass cover on face. All in good condition. This clock is running, keeping good time. Very large imposing clock. Size: 27" across the base of the clock height 9 1/2" depth 5 1/2" face 6 3/4" As with all antique and vintage clock , although working perfectly when shipped it may need minor adjustments when set up again.
