Up for auction is this HUGE beautiful piece of dinosaur bone - two pieces actually - the end cut is included - you get both. Look at the agatized white and blue colors - and the spider web deep cells- you can gaze right into this beauty - super nice! It has a dark matrix with excellent cell structure and definition. It was found in the Utah Colorado Plateau. It comes from an old, private collection- one owner. It is approximately 150 million years old - Jurassic - Morrison Formation. What a chunk-a-saurus! The approximate size and weight: Smaller piece 4¼" x 2⅞" x 1¼" and ½ pound Larger piece 8½" x 6" x 6" (with the professionally polished face measuring roughly 4⅞" x 2⅞") and weighs just under a whopping 9½ pounds! Slab this baby up or keep it as a great large display piece - fantastic!
