Huge and Rare English Pottery Stick Spatter Design Spatterware Punch Bowl 19th C First time I've ever seen this big punch bowl in this circa 1870 stick spatter design with flow blue and cut sponge decoration. I've seen the undertrays and have had a footed punch bowl, but none like this. It measures 14&1/4" across the top, 7&1/8" deep and weighs in at just under 9 pounds. The amazing thing is the fact that this is about perfect with no damage other than a minor glaze spider on the back that shows one leg in the interior bottom. This has a very slight amount of non distracting discoloration that would easily disappear with a professional cleaning if you have the means to do it. It doesn't need it though to display great. There are no repairs and there is normal glaze crazing as you can see in the photos. On the interior you can see some molding indentations from when this was made. Not many of these survived over the years and this is a great price on it. (all little white spots are light spots from the photography) Check out the photos!!!! Attention International bidders!
