Up for Auction here is a Large ESTATE LOT of a wide Variety of US/Foreign Coins, Proof Sets, First Day Covers, Medals/Medallions, Commemoratives, Sacagawea/Ike/Susan B. Anthony Dollar Coins, and Much More!
This Large ESTATE LOT contains a Total of 159 Pieces containing a Grand Total of 401 Coins (35+ of them are $1.00 US Coins!)
Here is a generalized listing of all that you get in this Incredible Lot;
17 Pieces containing 35+ $1.00 US Coins, including 5 Uncirculated Sacagawea Coins from 2003-2004 (along with 6 Uncirculated Half Dollars) and also 8 Proof Sets from 1980-81 which each include Susan B. Anthony Dollars. There are also 3 "Souvenir Sets" of 3pc Susan B. Anthony Dollars (9 Total) 1 from 1979 and 2 from 1980. Next is a $1 Coin Set of 4 from 2008 featuring 4 Presidential Dollars (Monroe, Adams, Jackson, Van Buren)Wrapping this section up there is a Bicentennial Set which includes an IKE and a 1st/Last of the Millennium Coin Set which includes both a Susan B. Anthony and a Sacagawea $1 Coin.
As part of those mentioned above, there are 10 Proof Sets (3 from 1980 and 5 from 1981) and 5 additional Uncirculated 6 Coins Sets (1996, 1999, 2004 - 2 Mints) as well as the aforementioned Bicentennial 3-Coin Set, a Presidential 4-Coin Set, a Uncirculated Bank Set (1997) and a carded Uncicrulated Set of Coins from the Falkland Islands (2004)
Next we have a Variety of US STATE Quarters, including SETS of ALL 4 (Gold, Platinum, Denver, Philadelphia) for 1999, 2000 and 2001 each of which includes the 5 Quarters from Each Year - 1 Set from each Mint, 1 Set Plated in Gold and 1 Set Plated in Platium (12 Sets of 5 Coins Total) Next there are 2 Commemorative Box displays of Five Statehood Quarter Dollars, 1 from 1999 and the other from 2000 - each containing that year's released Quarters in an Enhanced Colorized Process (2 Sets of 5 Coins) Also included are 4 carded displays each containing 2 State Quarters (3 NV/1 Wyoming) in uncircualted condition.
Also included is a Collection of 8 Nevada Palace Limited Edition/Numbered Diamond Commemorative Coins in display cases. The Coins from the now-closed Nevada Palace casino Commemorating events such as "New Years 2004" (Ltd #1764) "Thanks for 29 Years" (#1180) 2 "Millennium Commemorative" (#1646+1647) "New Years 2006" (#1036) "New Years 2007" (#0417) and a Pair of "Commemorative VIP" Coins - 1 from Jan 1 2002 in a Gold color (#1500) and 1 from Jan 1 2003 in a Silver color (#1175) - These Coins are highly collectible, individually numbered from a Closed Casino and each has an Actual Diamond embedded in the Coin!
The next Grouping of items are First Day Covers including Commemorative Coins - 2 Bicentennial FDCs w/Coins, 5 American Revolution Bicentennial Commemorative Medals w/Stamps, 5 First Day Cachets from New Guinea, each Stamped on the day of issuance for 5 of their country's Coins - each is Postmarked Apr 21, 1975.
Wrapping up this LOT there are a wide variety of Miscellaneous COINS and MEDALS/Medallions - some are Foreign and some are Novelty. Included here is a Sealed Set of 35 BRONZE Presidential Coins from a SHELL OIL Company promotion back many years ago! 35 Large Bronze Coin/Medallions, each featuring a different US President - then there is also an incomplete Set of this same item (approx 20+ Bronze Coins included in this 2nd Set)
There are many more Medals/Medallions such as a Commemorative Coin celebrating the XXIV Olympiad in Seoul-Korea, and Independence Hall Medallion, a National Bicentennial Medal, a Christopher Columbus carded Commemorative and a carded display with a Large reproduction 1913 Liberty Head Nickel.
