HUGE Fabulous Old Moorcroft Flambe / Cobalt Vase MINT You are bidding on a very rare, LARGE and FABULOUS old Moorcroft Flambe and cobalt blue pottery vase. This very substantial vase appears to be wheel thrown as it appears to have grooves up the walls of the vase indicative of hand thrown pots. The pot has then been incised around the shoulder of the vase, the effect almost resembles fringe. This vase is in PRISTINE MINT condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Marked on the bottom (please see pic) with and incised mark - W. Moorcroft (in script) / POTTER TO / H.M. THE QUEEN / MADE IN ENGLAND and then signed (in painted script) Moorcroft . Measures: 9 1/2" high x 6 1/2 diameter at it's widest point Please e-mail me with all questions before bidding.
