Amazing old quilt top dated 1931 and initialed by the artist! Nice saturated colors and lots of pretty feed sack fabric! This is a huge quilt top measuring 88" by 102"! It is both machine and hand stitched, mostly hand with tiny stitches. All of the pieces are a little larger than a quarter. Overall it's in wonderful vintage condition with only two small age spots (in the last photo) that might come out with a good soaking, but aren't that noticeable when looking at the entire quilt. The overall design is wonderful and well thought out. I can only imagine the time that went into making this quilt top! It has been hand washed at some time, but it still intact. There are no tears at all. Each tiny piece is tightly stitched and very secure! This will quilt beautifully!
