ENORMOUS BLACK FOREST CARVED EAGLE
We are in the process of thinning out my Black Forest collection. I have acquired most of my collection from many trips to southern Germany and Austria. Please see my other listings for more quality Black Forest items. This listing features a huge Black Forest carved eagle. It is impressively large at 40 inches from wing tip to tip! It measures 14 inches high! If this was carved from one piece of wood, then there are three horizontal cracks. If this was carved from two pieces of wood, then there is one crack. (please see photos) There is paint residue on the wood, indicating that it may have been painted at one time. Light sanding will rectify that. Three talons are broken. This massive eagle is heavily carved, with great detail. Shipping costs reflect the large size. We are listing this item with a .99 cents opening bid, with no reserve. High bidder gets it.
