ABOUT OUR AUCTIONS: Hi everyone,thanks for taking a look at our items. Over the next couple weeks we will be listing some fine examples from our collection. You very rarely see collections like this come up for auction on ebay these days, and all with No Reserve. Please be sure to add us to your favorites list , we do have more treasures still to come! If you haven't seen our auctions before it is nice to know we have Never Had a Reserve on one item ...Ever, no matter what it is! We also start everything off nice and low always under 15.00 to give everyone a great chance at a nice treasure. Also if you see more than one item you like, we give great combined shipping deals, always at least 50% lower for the second item and even lower for more items. ITEM: Up for auction is a Very Large German Solid Silver Pierced Centerpiece Bowl. The Bowl is part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. We have had the Bowl in our Collection for many years. It is one of the nicest period examples we have seen. The Bowl is also amazingly Large Solid Silver measuring 12 1/2 inches wide, by 4 3/4 inches tall. The Bowl also has Fine Pierced Work all around as you can see, along with nice Ring Handles. The Bowl is also Very Thick Solid Silver throughout weighting an impressive 1048 grams. The Bowl also has a nice Reinforced Top Rim making the bowl very strong. The Bowl has also never been monogrammed which is a nice Rare find. The Bowl is also in fine original condition with no dints, cracks, or repairs. As you can see the Bowl has early German hallmarks, and I believe would have been made in the later 1800's to early 1900's some time, along with a makers mark which looks like a Rapant Lion. I am sure the Bowl is by a very fine period silver firm with this kind of quality. The Bowl is a very nice size for holding Fruits, Breads, ect. It also displays beautifully just by itself. I have no idea what Very Large German Solid Silver Pierced Centerpiece Bowl the would be worth. I do know it may be some time before you see another one of this quality, and this Large Size come up for auction. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!!
