eBay's largest sellers use AuctionLynxx to increase sales... shouldn't you? ~ HUGE & GORGEOUS 8.5" RIDGED STERLING BOWL 1LB 5OZS ~ ~ No Reserve Auction ~ Presenting the last of two large, heavy and absolutely gorgeous sterling silver 4" deep bowls with 1/2" pedestal bases and deeply ridged decorated sides. This bowl is simply marked on the bottom STERLING 4 . I can find no other markings except for an elegant 1 1/2" x 3/4" monogram on one side of the bowl under the top rim on the 1 1/4" non-ridged portion. Tfore I am unable to date the piece accurately or discover the maker of this expertly-crafted sterling bowl. This huge bowl has an exaggerated ridged top rim and is simply stunning with a magnificent presence. With sterling at over $15/oz these huge bowls are very valuable! Condition: Excellent. NO dings, dents or repairs. The deeply ridged side runs 2 3/4" up from the 1/2" pedestal base. Top rim and base ring excellent with not the slightest nick. Extremely light scratching on the inside base of the bowl. Exterior excellent with no scratching. Weight: 1lb 5ozs fine sterling as weighed on my digital postal scale. An extraordinary sterling bowl with an unusual deeply ridged decorated side panel over a pedestal base. Huge, heavy, stunningly beautiful and ready for your Holiday festivities or display!
