T his auction is for a Huge Highly Carved Griffin or Lion Head pediment!! It most likely came off of a very expensive piece of Victorian furniture... It dates to Ca. 1890-1910. It is made of mahogony and is thick and quite heavy. It measures a big 27" long X 11.5" high and about 3" thick. Its a very impressive piece in person, and Looks great hanging on a wall. The Carvings are very nicely done and t is awesome detail. The only negative thing about the piece is that it was repaired at one time. T was a crack that looks to be professionally repaired. This is how I found it! It still Looks very cool non the less. Shipping,packing, and Ins. in the USA is $20.00 for the buyer to pay. Payment must be made within 3 days of auctions close.
