HUGE, 2 LB,4.2 OZ. CREEDITE & FLUORITE SPECIMEN, CHINA THIS IS A "HUGE" 2 POUNDS, 4.2 OUNCE BRIGHT MUSEUM COLLECTOR SPECIMEN OF CLEAR CREEDITE ON FLUORITE FROM JIANGXI PROVINCE (NEAR JIU JIANG) IN CHINA! I brought this nice specimen of Creedite on Fluorite from China in a group of minerals about 8 years ago. This is one of the nicest pieces I still have in my collection! It has hundreds of really nice clear crystals of Creedite all over the piece. Many of the crystals are in a Rosette pattern that kind of remind me of the shape of a daisy flower. There is a nice crystal filled vug on the top front center of the specimen. Then the base material is intermixed with a grey crystaline fluorite. The fluorite fluoresces a blue color and some of the creedite fluoresces a cream white. The creedite crystals range in size up to approximately 1/2". Most of them are naturally terminated with only a slight amount of damage on the piece. This specimen came from Jiangxi Province near Jiu Jiang in China and sets really nice in a display cabinet. The piece is a very estetically pleasing shape and is approximately 5.25"wide by 3.75"deep x1.5" thick in size. It weighs in at a really huge 2 pounds 4.2 ounces.
