HUGE Mission / Arts & Crafts oak rocking chair by LIFETIME
(Grand Rapids Bookcase & Chair Co.), Hastings, Michigan. Model #688...see page 6 from the LIFETIME catalog reprint...correct matching photo is shown below . Size: 28" wide, 37" deep (measured at the rockers), 32" tall Excellent condition. BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL FINISH! Extremely HEAVY rocker weighs appx. 100 lbs! Solid quartersawn oak...mortise and tenon construction w/ pinned joints. Original seat cushion recovered in micro-fiber fabric that looks like leather. Two back cushions are included...the original, plus one I had made. I felt the original was too thick. Both are covered in the same micro-fiber fabric. Possibly, one of the heaviest rockers made by LIFETIME. Solid condition...no loose joints. Unsigned...see photo from catalog reprint. $85 packing fee to have pro-packed. Will ship freight...too heavy AND large for Greyhound. Will ship via Yellow Freight or possibly JET DELIVERY (West Coast) or freight company of your choice. Local PU is also fine.
