(Counted the letters without removing the strings, so number could vary by just a few). Former owner tied up the letters she received in bundles. I am selling items just as they were found. No-one has gone through them since they were read some 75 years ago.Lot includes:45 letters that are tied up according to whom she received them 64 penny postcards from her brother and sisters. I did see in the postcards as I was counting them that just a few had some shorthand on them.Former owner was a young single lady from a Christian family at the time of the correspondence. She would have received these letters between the ages of approximately 11 to 18.Envelopes are quite tanned and have soiling.
