Up for auction is a huge lot of old Matchbox cars. I never realized I had this many. There are over 240 total. I would I say about 10-15 are post-superfast from about 1980-1984 and then about 5-10 are pre-Superfast, series pre-1970. The rest are all Superfast 1970/1 to 1979!!! There are 5 boxes for the rail cars with the container on them. I found all of the containers but only three of the cars. The site dumper (near top left) has its box as does the racer (far right column). There is also a loose box for Lamborghini from 71? in the very front middle but I'm not sure if I have the car for it.Some are in excellent condition, others have cracked/missing glass and/or pieces missing on them. I would actually say that the majority of these are complete and used. I remember when I was collecting these that I tried not to buy and that were junk though there are a few in this lot that are in pretty bad condition and could not be restored (I'd say about 5-10 but could be less. I've never tried to fix one).Overall, it is a fairly nice lot, all sold as is. Good luck bidding.I estimated the shipping based on the weight of all those cars.
