Vintage jewelry lot, purchased from an estate sale, and a very handsome solid wood jewelry box with fold-out mirror. T are 31 pieces of jewelry in all, and all the earrings are screw-backs or clip-backs. T's lots of marcasite and sterling silver , including two sterling silver rings (one a very wide band, crusted with marcasite), a sterling bracelet with garnets all the way around, and a beautiful wristwatch with a band made of links of silver, marcasite, and onyx. This lot includes several vintage rhinestone pieces, garnets, and a very nice selection of older sterling silver screw-back earrings, with and without semi-precious stones. 's a list of the pieces that are included in this lot: Wristwatch with marcasites surrounding the silver face. The links in the band are in a scroll shape, crusted with marcasites, and the links are connected by elongated black stones framed in beaded silver. T is a fine, thin safety chain. Sterling silver bracelet. Each link consists of a scalloped and marcasite encrusted base, topped by a prong-set garnet. Wide sterling silver band ring with a small round lavender stone set on top, a pierced pattern of leaves crusted with marcasites down each side, and a row of larger marcasites on front and back edges. I believe this is a size 8 ring. Careful inspection reveals that some tiny marcasites are missing, but I did not see these until I examined the ring with a magnifier. Sterling silver ring set with an oblong, sort of emerald-cut-looking lavender stone. I believe this is also a size 8 ring. Coat pin/brooch in the shape of fanned-out ribbons caught together at the center, of silver metal. The piece is cut and engraved in very tiny detail, so that it catches the light and looks almost like it's marcasite-studded. Brooch of black with gold filigree in a celtic-looking pattern, 2-1/4 inches long. Sterling silver cross on a 20-inch spiral sterling silver chain. The four arms of the crucifix are set with marcasites, and t is a single garnet set w the arms meet. Sterling Silver crucifix 3 inches tall, 2 inches wide - without chain. Brass crucifix with dark-colored leather inlaid into each arm of the cross, with integral loop for a chain. Vintage screw-backed earrings, silver, in a square, open flower pattern. The back of each is marked "A.L." "925" "ster", and "alpaca." Silver-colored clip-back earrings (probably contemporary rather than vintage). T is an oval black-silver stone framed in silver at the top of each earring, and below that the silver sweeps from each side gracefully down like leaves into a point, with fine line details, and six tiny black stones. Silver earrings, consisting of a one-inch black oval stone, surrounded by a scalloped edge set with several marcasites. Vintage floral earrings, unmarked but appear to be of silver, with screw-backs. Each is a flower in four layers - the bottom petals have the appearance of silver wire filigree. The next layer is of denser-looking petals, slightly pierced, then a tiny bowl-shaped and detailed floral circle layer, all topped by a tiny, smooth silver button. Old goldtone rhinestone bouquet pin, back marked "made in Austria," with 20 aurora borealis rhinestones in varying sizes as the clustered "flowers" in the bouquet. Gorgeous pair of clip-backed earrings, shaped like a peacock's plumage - a gold filigree half-circle, trimmed with nine sets of three tiny pearls around the edge. Raised on top of this is a fan of nine pickets, each set with an aurora borealis rhinestone at the point of the picket. The center base of each fan consists of an oval rimmed in tiny pearls surrounding a prong-set deep blue veined and flecked stone that looks like perhaps a sapphire .
