HUGE OUTSTANDING 1800's PARLOR OIL LAMP WOW! WHAT A FIND!! This auction is for a VERY LARGE, RARE AND HARD TO FIND size 1800's PARLOR OIL LAMP in EXCELLENT CONDITION. THIS ONE IS REALLY RARE - THE BOTTOM IS PAINTED AS A MIRROR IMAGE OF THE TOP(Sorry but in my picture I don't have the top and bottom lined up exactly to show this). No chips, cracks, repairs or missing paint. These lamps are often referred to as a Gone with the Wind Lamp. The painting on this lamp is OUTSTANDING! ALL 100% Hand Painted by a very talented artist - NO transfers. The lamp is highly decorated with beautiful handpainted ROSES on ALL SIDES! THIS IS A WORKING OIL LAMP AND HAS NOT BEEN CONVERTED TO ELECTRICITY. This IS ONE OF THE LARGEST ONE OF THESE I'VE SEEN! It has a TWELVE" BALL SHADE and measures a WHOPPING 28 3/4 inches tall and is approximately 12 1/2" across at the widest point and the chimney extends above the ball by 2 ½ inches. (I can't tell for sure but the chimney may be an old chimney - usually these are replacements so I can't guarantee it) I reserve the right to end this auction early if the item isn't getting an appropriate amount of bidding. Special Notes: This auction is only for the Lamp pictured and other items that may be part of the picture are not included in this auction. Paypal payments will be shipped with 7 days of payment (I only ship once a week on Saturday). Personal checks will take an additional 10 business days. Please take this information into consideration when waiting for your item. Priority Mail, insurance and delivery confirmation available at additional cost. Orders combined w possible (up to 3 days after initial winning bid), but the safe delivery of your item is always my primary concern. If an item is broken in shipping it is the buyer's responsibility. I will be happy to assist you in the claims process. I try my best to avoid a broken item by packing well and most of the time the item will be double boxed. I actually had a person break an item 2 months after receiving the item and then try to claim I needed to send him a refund (and he left negative feedback when called on it). If broken - item must be taken to your local post office for inspection within 7 days of receipt of the item. I will sign paperwork for the payment to come directly from the claim to the buyer.
