Description: A very rare and gorgeous Phenakite (Phenacite) crystal from Russia. A large clear crystal with a little bit of a mica matrix which makes up less than 2% of the specimen. Its weight is 571 carats, or 114.2 grams, which is very very large for a phenakite crystal. It has 2 faces, one being more clear, and the other beaing more peachy in color. T is a little break between the crystals, but the specimen is still in great condition. Its formula is Beryllium Silicate - Be 2(SiO 4), from a mine which also produced world class Emeralds and Alexandrites. Currently the mine is closed, and all the Russian specimens are from older collections. It is a powerful stone for clearing and activating the Chakras, in particular, the Third Eye and Crown Chakras. It helps one to go further in Meditation, and gives a deep awareness of one's inner structures, the Chakras in particular.
