I am gradually dispersing my own personal collection of eons of others collections that I gatd within a time frame of 35 years!! We have a total of 27 buttons, 1 dress clip, 8 buckles and 1 plastic miniature charm flying horse for sale. We have a lot of 11 fabulous vintage antique red Bakelite buttons , including 3 cookie buttons that all test positive for Bakelite through the Simichrome polish test. The red Bakelite buttons range from 2-1/2" -1-1/8". 2 of the red Bakelite buttons have a metal shank. Of these 2 metal shank Bakelite buttons, the small dark maroon button is in the shape of a flower. We have 6 + tested Bakelite buckles, ranging in size from 1-3/8" W to 4-1/4" W. The + tested Bakelite sailboat partial buckle 2" x 2". T is 1 red knotted dress clip, measuring 1-7/8" W x 1" L. The flying Skelly plastic horse that has a loop on the top measures 1-1/4" W x 1/8"L. 4 layered pink and purple-matching buttons measure 1-3/8" in diameter and 1" in diameter. The large purple button with carved swirling lines measures 1-3/4" in diameter. The gorgeous Celluloid button (self-shank) with separate curled petals, measures 1-1/4" in diameter and the large maroon and mauve carved button measures 1-1/2" in diameter. The oval iridescent pink and red-toned Celluloid buckle measures 2-5/8" W x 1-3/8"L. 9 small red cherry buttons could possibly be wooden. A few of the red buttons have wear on red outer color, exposing a brown base. Lastly, the large pinwheel red and white measures Celluloid buckle measures 3" in diameter. These buttons and buckles are in great used condition. Check my other auctions for more old buttons (including a lot more Bakelite) from the same estate collection. One small Bakelite button is dulled from use and has a small round surface hole on one of its sides (pictured).The postage cost would be for 1.6 pounds.I will be happy to combine multiple items won to help save you some shipping cost.
