HUGE RWP Wilton Armetale Pitcher No Reserve This auction is for a very large pitcher from the Wilton Brass Co in Lancaster County , Pennsylvania . . This pitcher stands 12 inches high. It is 4 inches across the opening, not including the spout. The base is 6 inches across. It is 9 ½ inches wide including the handle and the spout. It will hold over 2 quarts of liquid. This would make a great beer pitcher; I mean ice tea pitcher, or what ever you wish to serve this summer. If you chill Armetale, it will keep your beverages cold for a long time. This is made of Armetale, This is a special alloy made from the fusion of ten different metals. The result is an attractive, usable metal that is designed to last, and be used in all situations. It can be used in the oven, broiler or on the range. All pieces are hand cast, so each piece is slightly different due to the tiny imperfections that occur when hand casting. In every day use these are almost indestructible but at the same time provide a richness and warmth to your table that can only be provided by fine metal. Each piece has hallmarks much like fine silver, showing the manufacturer and touch mark of the individual craftsman who made the casting.
