This bottle is an ABM manufacture, thus dating from the early 1900s. The color is a light green, a much darker color than the one I sold last week which was just off clear. The lip is also different being a kind of double collar rather than the single flared type, and this bottle is half an inch taller. This bottle is embossed all around the base: " Federation Francaise Droguistes Marchands de Couleurs ", and on the base itself a number "5", plus " 1 LITRE MODELE DEPOSE " meaning patented or registered design ....and on the shoulder are six boldly embossed skull & crossbones.... The condition of this item is excellent, the base exhibits minimal wear, a loveley surface sheen ( cellar - found ), and absoluteley no chips, cracks, stars or fleabites - in fact as near mint as one can get.
