This is a huge lot of some very nice US Stamps and Covers. The lot is a culmination of all things stamp related found in 3 Ephemera lots bought at auction. One of the previous owners was a collector and seller himself, and a lot of stamp material was mixed amongst his papers.

This is a great lot for the collector or reseller. I will wrap everything in wax paper for transport.

** It should be noted that I am not a professional philatelist. I am an avid fan of ephemera and paper items and have researched some to post this auction. If you have an questions on condition or would like to see more photos, I would be happy to olige. Happy Biding!

I will do my best to describe what the lot entails. So here goes....

1 -Waltham Stamp Club Seller Book with near prestine, hinged stamps. The seller retired in 1976.
Scott #'s: 787, 798,799, 801, 802, 859, 864, 868, 869, 870, 880, 896, 897, 900, 928, 929, 933, 940, 944, 945.

75 -First Day Covers / FDC's : 1928-2001
including:
(4) 2 cent George Rogers Clark Feb. 25, 1929 Vincennes Indiana
(4)- 2 cent Valley Forge May 26, 1928 Valley Forge Penn.
(3) 2 cent Menlo Park June 5, 1929 Menlo Park, NJ
(2) 2 cent Charleston April 10, 1930, Charleston S. Carolina
(1) 2 cent Von Stuebes September 17 1930 NY, NY
The others include a variety of US Stamps (Christmas, commons, flags, commemoratives) and postal card FDC's. There is a variety of conditions, from superb to somewhat shoddy. Some have addresses, some don't. Some have cachets, others don't. Some inked, some in pencil. Some with clear cancellations some don't. A real variety, most decades represented. Again there are 75 total.

6- Political Covers: 1976 Democratic National Convention, NY, NY; 1976 Republican National Convention, Kansas City, MO; 1980 Republican National Convention, Detroit, MI; 1988 Democratic National Convention, Atlanta, GA; 1988 Republican National Convention, New Orleans, LA; 1990 DC Bush/Gorbachev Summit. These all boast nice cachets.

5- Old Covers: 1877 2 cent Jackson, 3 cent Washington; 1884 5 cent Garfield; 1899 2 cent Postal Card; 1911 1 cent Postal Card; 1932 4 cent Washington w/ "Officially Sealed by Post Office Department" Stamp on the reverse.

6 -Unique Covers: 1929 First Flight Route CAM 19 Airmail Baltimore May 6; 1977 Last Day RPO-Railway Post Office New York- Washington June 30; 1972 Space Shuttle Engines Canoga PArk, CA May 4; 1987 NJ Bicentennial Trenton NJ Sep 11; 1988 MD Bicentennial Annapolis MD Feb 15; 1988 NH Bicentennial Comm. Card with Block of 4 Concord NH.

Cellophane envelope with early early early early Used US Stamps ... Scott #: 100-200 range!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Envelope with dozens of 2 cent British Guiana- 1900's.

Envelope with (12) Internal Revenue 1 cent Washingtons, and at least (7) whole 5/8 cent IRS Stamps.* Note: These are in a very fragile state.

2 -Plate Blocks in Cellophane: Scott #'s C23 and 1388 . Unused.

4- Unused 4 cent Franklin Postal Card.

12- Falcon Stamp Company Envelopes: 2 Princess Diana Issues (Congo, Liberia); 1972 Dubai Portrait Series; 1975 Paraguay US History; 1976 Romania Paintings; among others Note: In one envelope the stamps have stuck together.

1- Falcon Envelope with 50 World Wide u-Pick Stamps.

Well Over 100 Used US Stamps, already soaked . Includes 2 IRS Wine Stamps, several 1925 Harding and Hale Stamps from various cities, 1930 Hardings, all other sorts.

Well over 100 Used US Stamps, before soaking ... large range of dates 1930's-2000.

1- Unused (but damaged) $2 Harding Sct # 833.

Beyond all of this I am going to keep adding to the auction as I find more relating to stamps, so they'll be a surprise package inside with items I didn't photograph or describe.
