Well......This is what you call a large flag! 24' x 12'...yes..24' x 12' (800cms x 400cms) or an 8 yarder. Technically it isn't a flag. It's a wall hanging of some kind. What we do know is it was made in 1975 for the Queen's Silver Jubille in 1977. It was used in London somewhere as this is where we bought it and others from at auction in the late 1970's. (A flag this size would have to have flagpole in the order of 80-90 feet tall) It is made from, we believe, MOD approved woven polyester (the broad arrow or "crows foot" can be seen clearly in photo) Given the age of it and the use it has had, it shows remarkable lack of damage, so far as we can see just one area of any real damage (see picture) This has to be the biggest flag EVER on ebay and a rare opportunity to own one in time for the Golden Jubillee.
