You are bidding on a huge Vintage Libby Glass Pig Jar. This jar has been sitting in a closet for many years and is in excellent condition. I gave him a bath this morning to get the dust off of him. He is not quite dry in the photos. He has his original cork snout with the nostrils, however, someone has glued shells on the nostrils. I am sure that they can be easily removed but I will leave that to the new owner. T are no chips, cracks or crazing that I can see. T may be minor surface scratches and t from the years but I see nothing obvious that detracts from the pig itself. Other than the shells, the cork is in good shape. This pig was found in my in law's house when we recently cleaned it out. It is believed that the pig was given to my mother in law as a premium many years ago when she was running a catering company and a restaurant. We believe this to be a "one owner pig". Piggy is about 20 inches long and about 10 1/2 inches tall. It is very heavy and weighs about 12 1/2 pounds empty without packing. These pigs are a rare find and this one is in excellent condition. On the back it says "This Little Pig Went to Market" and has a pig embossed on the end as well in the center of the words. Please ask any questions before bidding. This item will be professionally packaged for shipping. All sales are final. Shipping is estimated to be $30.00 in the lower 48 states and includes insurance. In the event that shipping and insurance are vastly cheaper, I will issue a partial refund.
