is a recent historic New England Estate find. This is a Huge Rare Vintage Commericial Mahogany Regulator Wall Clock. This is in Superb and Stunning Working and Cosmetic condition. This is an Absolute Beauty, see pictures! This is the type of clock that would hang in the lobby of a Bank or City Hall or School. It is huge! The case has a diameter of approx. 25" and the dial has a diameter of approx. 18". This is very heavy and weighs over 30 pounds! The case is made of ornate and intricately carved mahogany wood with beautiful detail, see photos. This is key wound and includes the key. The front cover comes off to wind the clock. This clock works great and keeps accurate time. It looks like t may have been a chime feature at one time , but it doesn't work. It looks like the it was disabled, I am sure someone handy with clocks could get it to work again. The clock works great and runs strong. I am not sure of the exact age, but it appears to be quite old. The face is made of metal and the bezel glass is very thick and heavy with a bevelled edge. This is Key wound , but does not have a pendulum. I believe this has a 30 day movement.This is quite rare. I haven't seen one like this for sale anyw else. This is a Great Old Original Mahogany Wall Regulator Clock. Don't pass this one up, I haven't seen one like this for sale anyw else.
