Offered for consideration is a substantial hammered brass table lamp with a modern chinoiserie urn form mounted on a solid carved 5 footed wood base. The piece is unmarked, so the exact maker is unknown. The quality is on par with Chapman, Frederick Cooper and Paul Hanson pieces from the era. The base is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. The only detail of note is some minor wear and discoloration on the very top of the urn and on the ball finial. There are a few random, minor superficial scratches consummate with age, but nothing glaringly obvious. Any "white spots" in the photos are reflections of light and not damage. The socket can utilize a 3-way bulb for 3 different levels of light. The lamp has been rewired to current standards with a new premium solid brass socket and new polarized cord and plug.
