This wonderful large gold tree pendant is marked on the back, 'Sascha B', with a tiny 'M' under it (I didn't even see the 'M' until I took a look at the photo I took). I'm not sure who this piece was designed for, but could have been either Marilyn Watson, Marilyn Watoon, or Merle Norman. It was made in the early 1970's. The tree measures about 4" high and is about 3 1/8" at its widest. The tree is three dimensional with different sized balls that are suppose to be leaves? It looks like a very weathered tree oozing with lots of character, kinda like the old weathered trees along the northern coast of California! At the base of the tree is the root system which has a raised modern swirly look, really nice! It has the original heavy double gold chain that is about 22" long. The tree is a gold-tone (I don't think it is real gold, but I could be wrong) plated metal that a magnet doesn't stick to, but the magnet does stick to the chain. It is a very bright gold on both sides of the pendant, but there is some light to moderate wear to the finish on a few of the raised balls and a small nick in the gold in the root system, I circled it in photo 4. The tree is so cool looking that the wear doesn't hurt its looks at all! It really looks so much nicer in person! I only take PayPal payments. Buyer pays actual shipping costs.
