Up for aution we are offering a huge vintage Stanley block plane. This one is big, measuring 6" to top of handle, 3 1/8" wide and a whopping 24" in length. This plane is in good used condition, showing signs of normal scratches and superficial cracks in the wood. The top of the wood handle is chipped as shown in photograph provided, but does not take from overall appearance. Plane reads on the front leading edge "Stanley Rule & Level Co. No. 31". It is very unusual to see such a large piece in this condition and still retaining most of it's original paint. Offered with a low starting bid and no reserve, do not let this one get by as planes this large do not come up for aution often.
