HUGE vintage YELLOW WARE yellowware stoneware BOWL
FRESH from old estate as part of nest of EIGHT bowls We have just acquired a nest of EIGHT Bauer Pottery and Yellowware bowls, FRESH from an old estate in Southern California. This mixed nest of bowls works great in a Spanish style kitchen; colors are vivid and beautiful together! The largest bowl has a diameter of 15"; the smallest has a diameter of 5 1/4". Please watch our auctions; the bowls will all be listed separately. Vintage yellowware bowl (exact age unknown), 15" in diameter and 6 1/2" tall, nor marked. Large footed base; rolled shoulder. Condition is 'as found'; the bowl is sturdy and strong, but t are signs of age and use. As can be seen in the attached photographs, t is wear on the foot (including some chips) and a few, old tight hairline cracks. The integrity of the bowl is not threatened. T are the usual clay and glaze variations (a bit of extra clay , a glaze pop from the firing t, along with darker glaze areas, etc.), typical of antique pottery of this type. This is the largest bowl in the 'nest'. A great HEAVY vintage bowl! Guaranteed to please the collector of antique stoneware, early primitive pottery or other vintage yellow ware! Being sold with NO RESERVE. Thank you for your interest in this auction. Please write if you have any questions or need additional information.
