Please note that due to the LARGE nature of this double mold, each piece will be wrapped and shipped in a seperate box, so DOUBLE THE SHIPPING CHARGE SHOWN FOR ACCURACY! Due to the size, each piece will be figured at 70 pounds for ups shipping. Of course, folks are always welcome to pick up the items to avoid ALL shipping charges. I'm 2 hours from Cleveland, Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA so that should give everyone a pretty good idea. The actual weight of each of these pieces is around 10 pounds, but UPS rates on "dimensional weight", thus the higher weight for calculations. These 2 pieces create an absolutely AWESOME drill or auger wooden mold pattern -- t were actually some metal augers identical to this at the plant.I wondered if I should list these together (shipping is higher) or seperately, but decided to give it a whirl together -- they have been together for MANY years, and would like to see them stay that way. The actual size of these is 33-1/2" tall, 18" wide. I included MANY pictures -- the red lines show when the augers are turned upright the other way. The last picture shows w some critter had gotten into the room at some time and lightly chewed on one end of a blade, but I don't think it detracts from the incredible beauty of these at all. I just try to point everything out to the bidders.I've had a couple of folks ask if my $9.99 starting bid is my estimation of the value and the answer is NO -- I just like to start the bids t and give everyone a chance -- I don't use reserves either.A large number of these are marked either "Stark Brick" or "Stark Ceramics" which is w they were acquired. This company was in business in Ohio for 98 years before they unfortunately closed last year. These wooden molds are truly part of a by-gone era -- the Industial Age!!These were covered with dust, which we have cleaned off, but we did not oil the pieces nor put any stain or finishing product on them -- we preferred to leave them natural and let the future owner decide how they want them finished (or left the way they are).PayPal is preferred -- The items will be very securely packed and shipped promptly. Any questions, please email me. I've had several questions regarding shipping -- if the buyer would like to arrange their own carrier or type of shipping, I have absolutely no problem with this. I'm more than willing to work with you. UPS just happened to be the cheapest and easiest I could find. Just wanted everyone to know that I'll check parcel post, FedEx ground and UPS ground in order to give the buyer the absolute best rate for shipping. I should have stated this when I listed, but I'm not 100% tied to UPS. Just to let everyone know. Of course, you can pick up also, or we can meet someone within a 150 mile radius.
