Hughes Cornflower Cut Glass Cocktail Shaker WOW NR! If vintage glassware is your pleasure, be sure to take a look at my other auctions. I am offering a varied range of items, everything from Depression glass to Brilliant Cut, and most all come with no reserve.In this auction, I offer for your bidding pleasure a seldom seen Hughes Cornflower Clear Cut Cocktail Shaker and Lid. This pretty piece measures about 9 1/2" tall and comes to you in great shape with no chips, cracks or repairs. The only thing which bears mentioning is a small dent in the metal lid.Please be sure to look at my other auctions for a Cornflower Water set as well as other Cocktail Shakers and Barware! Please be sure to read all of my policies listed below and contact me to resolve any questions you still may have.Payments via paypal are expected within 7 days of receipt of our invoice.For priority mail shipments, we charge what the post office charges us. For parcel post, in addition to the cost of shipment, we charge about 50% of the difference between priority and parcel posts to defray the cost of materials. Unlike some sellers, we do not make an additional living out of inflated shipping and handling fees. About 95% or more of what we ship is extremely fragile. Almost nothing we sell can be tossed in a box and sent out. To that end, it is nearly impossible to enter an accurate shipping figure on the auction page; ours is an ESTIMATE. We wrap all of our items in bubble wrap and peanuts and use proper size, sturdy boxes for shipment. In nearly 4,000 packages of glass we have shipped around the world in our career as glass dealers, we have had only 2 losses. We use a proper balance of quality products, good judgment, and business savvy to get you your item intact and in an economical manner. If shipping costs are a concern for you, please contact us and we will calculate them out for you. We consider our sales to be final sales, however, your satisfaction is guaranteed. Most everything we sell is used and vintage and much of that is hand made. In our descriptions we call all known chips, cracks or repairs and if t are other glaring areas of concern, we will mention those as well. Included in that, but not limited to, would be excessive wear, gross inconsistencies, or anything that 'stands out' as unusual or noteworthy. The absence of a specific concern you have regarding condition does NOT mean that a piece is "perfect". For example, we do not consider small straw or tooling marks damage as they were done at a factory and are not post-production issues. If you have individual concerns regarding issues like that, please contact us in advance so that we can address your concerns and provide additional pictures if necessary. In the event that we may have overlooked something, or if you feel differently of our appraisal of an item, please contact us immediately and we will work the situation out.
