A Stunning Set - a beautiful Hull Tea Set in the highly sought after Bowknot pattern in the very collectable blue color. This design was produced during 1949-50 and has become one of the most popular collectible pieces. The bowknot teapot is decorated with a mauve flower, a yellow flower (almost tulip-like) and two blue bell buds with trailing leaves that are centered right above the base in an ivory background. A sky blue color designs the top and bottom section. The reverse side is identical - great for displaying in any location. The perfect lid is decorated with a pretty bowknot in a deep pink color. This teapot looks as though it was only used for display. The inside is spic and span. The bottom of the teapot is inscribed with U.S.A. Hull Art B-22-6. It stands over 6 1/2 inches at the highest point and extends to almost 11 1/2 inches wide from handle to spout. T are no cracks or chips and for being over 55 years old t is only very minimal crazing, if any. Both the sugar holder and the creamer have similar designs as the teapot. The bottom of the sugar is inscribed with U.S.A. Hull Art B-20-4. It stands approximately 4 1/2 inches high and extends to almost 6 inches wide. The bottom of the creamer is inscribed with U.S.A. Hull Art B-21-4. It stands approximately 4 1/2 inches high and extends to almost 6 inches wide. Both pieces appear to be in excellent condition very little, if any, crazing!
