Hull 3-Piece Butterfly Tea Set ~ Teapot, Creamer & Covered Sugar Bowl Rare Cream Coloring With Pastel Pinks & Blues! This gorgeous set is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. It was recently purchased from an estate sale. The person I bought it from said it had been received as a wedding gift in 1957. She told me it was never used and had just been stored away in a box for all these years. I know Hull has been reproduced and I'm no expert but judging from the other items in the sale and the age of the box it was stored in, I believe this set to be genuine. It's just in absolutely beautiful "like new" condition which is very rare! Money back if you don't agree! The Teapot is cream colored with pastel blue feet and bottom. The top part of the spout and the rim are also pastel blue. The inside is mainly cream colored with blue tinting. It's decorated with raised pastel blue & pink butterflies and flowers. The lid is mostly pastel blue with a black butterfly as a handle. The butterfly is highlighted with pale yellow. It stands 8 1/2" tall and measures 8" across from handle to spout. It's marked on the bottom Hull USA '56 B18.The creamer is also cream colored with pastel blue feet and bottom. The inside and rim are pastel blue. It's decorated the same as the teapot. It stands 5" tall and measures 5" across from handle to lip. It's marked on the bottom Hull USA '56 B19.The sugar bowl is the same as the teapot & creamer except that the inside and rim are cream colored. The lid matches the one on the teapot. It stands 4 3/4" tall and measures 5 1/4" across at the handle. It's marked on the bottom Hull USA '56 B20.All 3 pieces have a smooth glaze with a dull shine to it (not high gloss). The butterflies and flowers are all raised. Each piece has 3 feet. The teapot does have a tiny black dot on the lid that looks like it was a drip of black paint from when they painted the butterfly (can be seen in photo). And the sugar bowl has 2 small pinholes on the top rim. As I'm sure most Hull collectors know, these slight manufacturing flaws are quite common. Aside from that the set is in pristine condition. Any glare or discoloration in the photos was caused by my camera and/or overhead lighting. This set is very difficult to find especially in this condition so don't miss this chance to add it to your collection! __________________________________ Item comes with a money back guarantee (minus shipping costs) Buyer pays S/H and will have choice of USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post.
