This auction offers you a beautiful 10.5" Hull MAGNOLIA Vase . This pattern was in production between 1946-1947 . It is in the Pink and Blue color in Matte and is described in the reference book The Collector's Ultimate Encyclopedia of HULL Pottery , IDENTIFICATION AND VALUES, Volume One by Brenda Roberts as such "Magnolia can be identified by its hand-decorated embossed florals on shaded matte pastels of pink and blue or dusty rose and yellow. This author has assigned a value of $235.00-$275.00 to this vase. The bottom of the vase has the raised Hull Art U.S.A-9-10 1/2". T is a pencil marking by the outside bottom edge of the vase which can be seen in the picture. I have seen some Roseville pottery with this kind of marking on it, so it may be original to this vase. The vase has no damage; no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs . It has one very small shallow depressed area on the upper rim, which was obviously a small nick in the soft clay before it was put in the kiln, because paint and glaze cover it. It is barely noticeable, but I try to mention anything out of the ordinary. This beautiful example of Hull Pottery is offered with no reserve . Thanks for viewing my auction.
