UP FOR AUCTION, AND YOUR CONSIDERATION, is a MATTE GLAZE WOODLAND WALL POCKET. This awesome piece is in almost Factory MINT condition. It was produced by the Hull Pottery Co. in 1949, before the plant burned. I have been collecting, and, trading Hull Art pottery since the early 80's, and this is one of the cleanest pieces I have come across in recent history. I own over 300 pieces, and am selling some of them, mostly duplicates, to make room for more and different. I do professionally clean some pieces, however, I am grateful this one didn't need it due to the fact the Original Label is still affixed to the back, that is, all except what came off when someone hung it on the wall. This piece looks to have never been used, except for display. SEE PICTURES! This pocket came from a very crisp mold, and, is colored in beautiful hues of pink, cream, blue, and green. This piece has NO chips, cracks, crazing, or, repairs. The ONLY issue I can find on this item, and, I am only mentioning it for accuracy, is a very tiny, less than a 1/16", clay pull on the back edge of it, and a very small area of crazing near the nail hole, only on the rear, that I captured in several of the photo's. It is a minute flaw, as it is perfectly glazed. It is NOT a chip!! This item lists in Brenda Roberts 2006 edition of The Collectors Ultimate Encyclopedia of Hull Pottery at $250 to $300. Don't expect to receive that much, just thought you might want to know. I am new to ebay, so, my feedback is low, but, don't let that stop you from bidding, as you WON'T be Disappointed.
