Hull Pottery Bow Knot Sad Iron Wall Pocket. #1 Measures Approx. 6 1/4"T x 4 1/4"W at the bottom. I have taken many pics so that you may see the wonderful condition of the wall pocket. Pics were taken outdoors in natural light. Excellent Condition with No Chips, Cracks or Repairs and very minor crazing due to age. On the bottom right hand corner you will see a white mark, this is NOT a chip, simply an error in glazing. (See Pic). Inside the wall pocket is clay w it has been used in the past. I did not try to remove it. I will let the new owner decide whether to remove it or not. Does create a little extra weight. Both Irons are Unmarked... I am listing 2 of these Sad Iron Wall Pockets. (Identical in Color). These are the pics for #1. Please check out the other one, hard to find these in pairs. I will not combine shipping, as each wall pocket will be shipped seperately to avoid damage. Payment by PAYPAL ONLY ... No other options are available... She was a neighbor of mine. Her home was imaculate. I do not know the actual age of these sad irons. Her daughter told me she had them for years. This is the only information I have regarding these pieces.
