This is from my personal Hull Pottery collection. It is time for me to "down-size" and with great sadness, I am releasing my beloved Hull Pottery for bids! This is my "prize piece" - the best piece of Hull that I have in my collection. It is the Dogwood/Wild Rose pattern w/ lovely matte finish. The colors are beautiful pastel pink, blue, cream, green and yellow. This is a large vase standing 9 1/4" tall and 8" wide at widest point. T are two "Art Deco" round handles on each side. This is not a "mint" piece. T is one tiny 1/4" place on one of the "dogwood flower" edges w the pink paint glazing has been nicked on one side. This is the only flaw I see on the top of the vase itself. On the bottom of the vase t is "crackling" and one small chipped place about 1/4" long. T are some deep lines on the bottom from aging. None of the bottom problems are visible when the vase is sitting upright. T have been no repairs to this vase. This is, in my opinion, a "very good" piece of Hull Art! I purchased this piece from a reputable Antique Dealer in my area in the 1980's. The price I paid for the piece at that time was $65.00. I know that this is a great piece and I'll be honest, in all of my years since, I have not seen this particular vase in my area in antique shops or auctions. Also, I have only seen a few of them on ebay for sale. This is a beautiful Hull Art Pottery Vase and would be a great addition to your Hull collection.
