Hull Tea Set in Ebb Tide with Teapot, Creamer and Sugar LOW STARTING PRICE - NO RESERVE!! OWN THIS BEAUTIFUL-HIGHLY DESIRABLE SET!! This offering is for the very desirable Hull Ebb Tide Tea Set circa 1955. The set is made up of a tea pot that is 6 ½" tall and 9" long that is marked " Hull E-14" on the bottom. The sugar bowl is 4" tall, 6" long and is marked " Hull E-16" on the bottom. The tea pot and the sugar have lids that are topped by a small seahorse. The creamer is 4" tall, 5 ½" long and is marked " Hull E-15" on the bottom. The creamer has had the handle broken but has been very professionally repaired and is virtually invisible to the eye. In her book "The Collector's Ultimate Encyclopedia of Hull Pottery, Volume 1," Brenda Roberts shows this set on page and places a Market Value on it on page 200 of $415.00 to $545.00 depending on the condition of the set. Since this set has been repaired - very well repaired at that - I am asking for well below the low end market value even though the tea pot which is by far the most valuable piece and the sugar bowl are in pristine condition and both lids are in extra fine condition. This is one of the most sought after of the Hull patterns and three of the most desirable pieces. Thank you for viewing this item.
