Hull Pottery Woodland Cornucopia Vase This Hull vase is a wonderful example of elegantly understated functional art! It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or other detractors or blemishes. It is, essentially, in like-new condition. The glaze is in superb shape and the finish is what I would call a sort of muted or medium gloss. The base is an earthen dark color that gradually shifts to a lighter earth tone then to an off-white. Further up, at the top, the off-white gradually shifts to a somewhat muted gray-blue. Both sides are dressed with a green vine and pink orchids. This vase stands about 5 & 3/4 inches tall. The "mouth" of the cornucopia measures about 2 & 1/2 inches by about 4 & 1/2 inches and the base is about 3 inches across. We've started this auction with a low opening bid and no reserve, but since this beautiful piece is in fine shape, we've also included a Buy It Now in case someone wants to bypass the whole bidding thing...
