I am selling all my Hull Continental pottery (8 items) so that it can be passed on to someone else to enjoy. They have been in storage for some time and will need a good cleaning. Some of the items are shown in the last photo, but be sure to check my listings for the two Orange Continental pieces also listed.. Offered for your consideration is a Vintage Hull Continental Cat Vase in Evergreen glaze. This is marked "809-USA" on the bottom. It measures 11" high, 6" wide, and 5" front to back. Weight is 2 lbs. 13 oz. unpacked, quite heavy. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks found. It has a manufacturing flaw just inside the mouth of the vase (photo 6 & 7). It initially looked like a chip to me, but it is glazed over and just an odd cut in the clay. It also has a glaze skip on the left ear where the color did not adhere. There is a glaze pull or chip on the very bottom (photo 8), mentioned just for accuracy and shown in the picture. This is still in excellent condition and a rather hard to find item. This is offered at a reasonable starting bid with a Buy-It-Now option if this is one you must have! This will be fully insured no matter the final price and packed with extra care. I describe each item as completely as possible so that you know exactly what you are bidding on. It is my belief that honesty is the best policy. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: SHIPPING ISSUES: I do combine shipping for multiple purchases, so contact me if you plan to bid on more than one item. Ebay has removed the option for shipping insurance. Therefore, all breakable items over $25.00 starting bid will be insured. Items $25.00 to $50.00 will have $1.75 added to shipping costs; items over $50.00 will have $2.50 added to the shipping cost. This "handling charge" goes specifically for shipping insurance, not into my pocket. Sorry to do this, folks! I do not try to profit from shipping and base the cost solely on weight and destination. Please note that I use recycled packing material to keep costs low and to aid the environment. I will ship First Class if it is the cheapest for you, but it is NOT offered on the Ebay shipping tool. I will offer refunds for any overcharges on shipping costs between First Class and Parcel on items under 13 ounces. I always offer a choice of parcel post or priority, so be sure to select which one is best for you. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: You must contact me first for shipping costs. Please write with your city, country and zip for an accurate quote. I cannot always provide insurance on overseas parcels. RETURN POLICY: Ebay now requires a return policy. I will accept returns for 7 days after receipt of the item if the buyer contacts me first regarding any issues and if the item is returned in the same condition as purchased.
