Greetings, I am a long time mineral collector of 31 years. 2016 marks 17 years I have been on eBay, though I have been absent from selling for about 6 years. Please check my 100% positive feedback.A OLD and IMPORTANT QUINCY SILVER!Silver in Quartz with crystalline / crystal type faces. I think they are negatives of quartz or calcite. I do NOT believe the piece was ever acid etched. It is from the VERY old Harry T. Hulst collection #361. His paper number came off when I washed it in mild soapy water some 20 years ago. I did some work for the local Marquette County Historical Society back then which the Hulst collection and this specimen were in and I received this specimen, in part, for organizing their mineral collection (Which they subsequently sold most of). I have a copy of his old collection records - (which is Not included in this auction). The number #361 that WAS on it matched to his records of Silver, Quincy Mine, Houghton County Michigan dated 1897. It has my number on the plexi base, which it is hot glued too, of M111, which I can easily remove and I may anyway, as it is loose. If you want this Plexi base and hot glued back on, PLEASE MESSAGE ME PRIOR TO MY SHIPPING IT. It will be accompanied with my label, MPB Minerals Collection, plus a "re-do" of the original Hulst label which I never found with this piece. Most were read more
