You are buying 1 Top quality standard forest axe HY20 Hultafors Agdor axe head weight 2 lb (850g) cutting edge 3 1/2" 84 0281 hand made by Hults Bruk , Sweden Hickory shaft ideal for chopping and felling on a small scale Made from blasted and clear-­lacquered ironwork . The shaft is curved and made from hickory. The axe is hand-forged and made from Swedish axe steel using traditional methods in use since 1697. The steel is reheated several times, increasing its density and thereby the durability of the axe. Has a clear hard zone within which the axe so can be sharpened whilst not detracting from the strength of the edge. The shaft is made from hickory and treated with linseed oil. the axe head has a simple single bevel grind and shape ideal for chopping and felling on a small scale . Particularly suitable for branch trimming , limbing and clearing bushes .
