Hummel 205: German Language Dealer/Display Plaque TMK-1 Size 5-1/2" x 4-1/2"
This figurine was designed by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1949. This older figurine has the traditional bumblebee perched on the top of the plaque and a Merry Wanderer attached to the right side. T are no chips, crazing, etc. The base has: 1935-1949 incised Crown Mark (TMK-1) Model number 205 incised Book value for this figurine is $750-$900. This Hummel is from an extensive collection over 50 years in the making. The owner of this Hummel recently passed and the family does not care to keep the figurines. All figurines were kept in glass covered curio cabinets since their purchase. All price values are from the Luckey's Hummel Figurines & Plates Identification and Price Guide, 12 th Edition. Buyer to pay for shipping based on zip code; all shipping quotes include a $4.00 fee to cover the cost of shipping materials. Insurance is required. I will not ship if insurance is not purchased. Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding. I will do my best to represent each figurine accurately. This collection has over 400 figurines and I am listing 10-20 per week. Keep an eye out if you don't see what you're looking for, it just might show up. I have not inventoried the whole collection so I do not know what I will list next. Payment, or notification that payment is being mailed, is expected within 3 days of auction end.
