GENUINE M.I. HUMMEL I.D & SIZE: Goebel Hummel 8 BOOK WORM with Trademark 1. The Hummel is marked US Zone indicating that it was produced between 1946 and 1948. She measures 4 1/2" high. The M.I. Hummel signature is on the side of her dress. CONDITION & COLOR: I have examined this Hummel out in the sunlight and she is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs . I found one crazing line on the bottom or the piece and a couple of crazing lines on the book. In each case the lines were very hard to see and required a bright light and to be held at just the right angle to see. The c olor is excellent throughout but t is a speck of white on her scarf - a very tiny paint fleck. T is another speck of white on her hair ribbon but that appears to be a paint miss. Both specks are very insignificant. Any other light spots in the pictures are just light reflections and not t in real life.
