Ich bringe Glück Kaminfeger Chimney Sweep #12/1 World famous "M. J. Hummel ® figurines are made by the noted German ceramic and porcelain manufacturerW. Goebel Porzellanfabrik under exclusive license from the Convent of Siessen, Germany. Up for your consideration is a mint Hummel, "Chimney Sweep". This adorable little guy is 5 ¾ in height. He has no chips, cracks, or crazing, and his finish is pristine, with no warn spots. He has the stamped signature impression on the perimeter of his base and the original title label is still attached. On the bottom of the base he carries the impressed numbers 12/I a hand written 7 and others marks that I cannot make out. I am supplying a clear photo of the bottom for your inspection. This figure was acquired in Germany by my Grandmother. She loved and proudly displayed her collection in a glass breakfront over the years. Since item is over forty years old and I am not experienced in properly cleaning delicate collectables I will leave the cleaning to the buyer which is really only a slight bit of dust. My Grandmother recently passed and I have inherited her collection of Hummel's including several pieces of literature and catalogs, some of which are written in German. Although I appreciate and admire this collection, I have already saved personal and sentimental items important to me, and want to offer this figurine and others to serious collectors. I am starting the bidding low and t is no reserve. I ship within two days of cleared payment, and require insurance as these figures are not easily replaced. Buyer must make all claims in the event Post office misshandles package. Be assured that I will take the utmost care in wrapping and shipping this little gem.
