For auction is an authentic Goebel, M.I. Hummel "LITTLE GOAT HERDER". LITLLE GOAT HERDER was originally modeled by master scuplptor Arthur Moller in 1948. Hand-painted..this porcelain figurine is in MINT condition with no chips, repairs, or damage of any kind. The underbase is stamped with the Hummel Trademark 5 and it is signed and dated by the artist. The Goebel Model I.D. Number 200/1 and the year 1948 is also incised on the underbase. Inspired by the drawings of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, each delightful figurine tells a story of childhood..whether playing at being a grown-up, doing little jobs around the house or enjoying time with animals and friends..each is as captiviating as the next.
